IMCORP Diagnostics

The following list is the product line offered by IMCORP.  Certain units operate in conjunction with others.  For further information that will meet your needs, please contact us for more details.

Diagnostic System

bullet

Estimator EST 300

The Estimator System is the core of the IMCORP diagnostic system. It provides a user friendly Windows XP platform for the proprietary IMCORP IMESTI software. This system uses advanced digital signal processors along with high speed data acquisition to enable the user of the IMESTI software to detect, locate, and diagnose cable defects in field conditions.

bullet

Signal Conditioner SC 300

This unit is the sensitive 'ear' of the IMCORP Diagnostic System.  It couples the Estimator to the cable under test, rejects the excitation voltage and directs the cable system signal responses to appropriate electronic conditioning circuits prior to channeling the signal to the Estimator.

bullet

pC Sensitivity Calibrator PCC 100

A handheld unit with selectable calibrated pulse generation capability used on every test to ensure that the IMCORP Diagnostic System's sensitivity is accurate and the test comparable with cable factory tests. Each pulse selection is calibrated to a specified charge (pico Coulomb) output ranging from 5 to 1000 pC.

bullet

IMESTI Software

This software is a robust, dynamic, Windows XP based, user interface with the IMCORP Diagnostic System.  Modules of this proprietary software package enable the user to perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures including precision cable system mapping with the IMCORP Advanced TDR, accurate sensitivity calibrating with the pC Sensitivity Calibrator, defect physical locating confirming with the Location Matcher,  global cable condition assessing (Tangent Delta), and discrete cable defect locating (partial discharge tests).

Advanced TDR  (Time-Domain-Reflectometry)

The Advanced TDR provides precision mapping of cable system under test. With a simple user friendly interface, the operator of this unit can determine the length of the cable system, and the location of joints, neutral corrosion, and other severe physical anomalies.  The Advanced TDR is available in two versions - portable and permanent test vehicle installation.

PD Test Station (For cable manufacturing plants)

Consists of a signal conditioner, Estimator, pC Calibrator, TDR and Matcher (optional).

M300 Field  Pack

Consists of a PD location matcher system, TDR (Radar), and partial discharge (PD) sensitivity calibrator technology.

Location Matcher PM A200

A powerful tool used to confirm the location of defects in buried power cable.  Consisting of a transmitter and receiver set, the Location Matcher uses the module of the IMESTI Software to match a position along the cable route with the estimated defect location.
